Best Research Paper indicates the Best Researcher. The Researcher's strength and ability of work can be known in the selection, implementation, and Completion of Research Work. ICMM Germany 2020 appreciates the hard work and smart work of the researcher by presenting a Georgius Agricola Award.
Georgius Agricola was a German Humanist scholar, mineralogist, and metallurgist. Born in the small town of Glauchau, in the Electorate of Saxony of the Holy Roman Empire, he was broadly educated but took a particular interest in the mining and refining of metals. He is well known for his pioneering work De re Metallica Libri XII, that was published, one year after his death. This 12-volume work is a comprehensive and systematic study, classification and methodical guide on all available factual and practical aspects, that are of concern for mining, the mining sciences, and metallurgy investigated and researched in its natural environment by means of direct observation.
Georgius Agricola Awardee will be given Memento and Certificate as a token of appreciation.
Eligibility: Should be registered before the Award deadline for ICMM Germany 2020.
Selection Criteria: Experience as a Researcher, Research work topic and type of Research, Brief explanation to the conference attendees and Queries which shows the ability & how well the delegates understand the presentation.
